Flour, sugar, oil, salt,
Creating in the kitchen
Food we cannot live without!

Healthy version's all we're doin'
Only changing the approach
It's all the right ingredients
That we're needing in a coach

Let's get to know our produce isle,
Learn how to read the labels
Pretty soon we'll have the skills
To make our own tantalizing table!

What do you think means healthy eating and what information will you share on this site?

What we eat and share on this site can be called "American Plant"

We know that the more percentage of our plate is devoted to foods that are, or are derived from whole plants, the more health we will gain and experience. Of course even when plant derived, low in fat is better for the body. American Plant tends to use a moderate amount of the better fats to re-create the Standard American Diet (SAD), since that is what we are used to. Therefore, this site is a good progressing, transitioning or stopping point as opposed to what the Standard American Diet (SAD) promotes, commercializes, processes, preserves, enhances, adds, kills and passes on to us as health.

Most things that we should be eating don't need fancycolorful packaging to give the illusion of adding health.
