Why Experience?

Why is this blog titled "Evans Sisters Healthy Eating Food Experience?"

Since working with new ingredients, learning tips and tricks and making dinner from whole foods can seem a little daunting, the Shefs decided that sharing the experience would be more effective then just telling someone to make 'this or that' recipie.

Once a month, the Shefs meet on Skype group video call and make something new together!
  1. Our first experience was a from scratch Spaghetti Sauce and while that was simmering, a quick, delicious Thai Peanut Sauce.
  2. The second was a favorite of Shef Bold Flavor-Setian Ham, in preparation for Thanksgiving. Several Shefs actually served it at their feast and skeptics palates were pleased :)
  3. Our most recent creation was a mock of the much favored Taco Bell Chalupa. Oh, that was filling and it satisfied the craving to eat outside of the bun!! haha. And yes, the sauce, should be mixed in the blender.
It's a mix of laughter, dancing, stirring, and by the end, stuffing our faces with what we've made.

If you're curious enough, we'd welcome you do join us during the call! Otherwise, the edited version (no, not because we curse) will be available on this site when it's complete. Usual experience times last from 1 1/2-2 hours, including eating and sharing ideas.

Or you can make your own experiences by sharing eating healthy with anyone you choose with your Skype group calls, and share the small cost!  If Google connect works, that would be a free way to do it.

Experiencing making food is a fun, and healthy way to get together and share the food eating LOVE!
